model I reel for 9 meter of two flat cable. Rating:
6A-250V. It is indicated that a fully rolled-up cable nay carry a
maximum load of 750 Watt at 220 Volt. The reel has a DDR Gütezeichen 1 (quality mark, indicating
good quality). Manufacturer: KWO
(Kabelwerk Oberspree, Berlin-Oberschöneweide, German Democratic
Republic). Stromfix reels were introduced in the late 1950s. It is

2 | Stromfix Junior model III reel for 15 meter of three wire cable. Rating: 10A-250V. It is indicated that a fully rolled-up cable may carry a maximum load of 1000 Watt at 220 Volt. The extension cable has a Schuko plug with quality mark 1, whereas the reel is graded as top quality (mark Q1). Manufacturer: KWO (Kabelwerk Oberspree, Berlin-Oberschöneweide, German Democratic Republic). It is not known when production of model III has started, possibly 1980s. {PM} |

3 Russian reel with 3.2 meter of two wire flat cable. Unknown brand name. It has a logo with Cyrillic characters "EmKaZe", see inset top right. The yellow rim has the following note: 220V up to 1200W Attention ! With maximum load fully unwind cable. The exact Russian wording is shown below the reel. Elsewhere, a rating of 6A - 250V is indicated. The flat cable has a Schuko/French hybrid plug with 4.0 mm pins; outlets accept only plugs with 4.0 mm pins. {WM} |
